Especially in the summer months, Matylda, a water reservoir located at the northern edge of the town of Most is a popular resting place. On the eastern banks of the reservoir, those who like sunbathing and swimming find green grass lawns, a sandy beach as well as inflatable water attractions. The bank of the water area is bordered by a four-kilometre course perfect for jogging and in-line skating. Visitors can also exercise on outdoor exercise machines. For lovers of other sports activities, the area offers the possibility of flying a kite or taking a ride on a boat as well as pedal boats. Families with children appreciate the barbecuing area and children’s playground. In winter, a cross-country ski trail is traditionally prepared here. In the area, there are several cycling paths for non-demanding cyclists. There is also some space allocated for camping, which is open from May 5 to September 30.
